Jurassic Park

Over the weekend, I re-watched a movie I hadn’t seen since my childhood: Jurassic Park. I think this film epitomizes the awe I experienced as a child. I can remember seeing it for the first time and being so amazed at what I was witnessing. Jurassic Park introduced me to special effects, Steven Spielberg, and, of course, Laura Dern. For whatever reason, when I think of Jurassic Park, I think of her… and then the dinosaurs. It doesn’t hurt that this movie is hugely entertaining.
